Xtra Happy Great underrated EP. I feel this and Badlands get a little overlooked, cast in shade by Machine and the more mainline albums' wake. Both are definitely worth a shot though.

'Badlands II' is one of my favourite tracks by Dubmood period - lovely spacey arpeggios start the track off, followed by GEM TOS' soft vocals over a steady synth beat which sees the song out. The title track has a great punchy electro-punk attitude to it too. Favorite track: Badlands II.

Jeremy H One of my all time favourite albums. Incredibly expressive vocals for an electronic album, I can not get enough of the many incarnations of GEMTOS. Favorite track: Monologue.
Polioman thumbnail
Polioman Nices tracks, I listen to Badlands and this album one after the other (they go pretty well together). Favorite track: Grazie.

Papernoise A great follow up on Badlands, that shows how the band is further developing its style. Favorite track: Monologue.

Overlander is the second part of Dubmoods Badlands triology and they (as Dubmood is now a group) continue to explore and broaden their earlier chiptune pop and electro house influences and blends the chipmusic with acoustic drums, vocals and guitars. The EP contains a lot of straight references to Dubmoods influences and the genre-nerds will have plenty of synthpop, indierock, electronica and dance punk to go. Except bandmembers GEM TOS (Vocals, Guitar and CASiO DG20), Elliot Berlin (Drums, Bass, Synths) and Dubmood himself, featurings include old-timer Zabutom (Guitars on Track 1, Chords on Track 3) and metal-singer Candice from ETHS (Vocals Track 3). Exclusive for the Bandcamp release is a MisfitChris Remix!
